Description

Et’hem Bey Mosque

Et’hem Bey Mosque is a mosque built in Albania by Mulla Beu, Petrela, around the end of the eighteenth century. Above the first door of the mosque, there is a tombstone that confirms that this mosque was built by Mulla Beu, a wealthy man of Tirana who, with the purpose of charity, laid the foundations of this mosque in 1791.

Mulla Beu, who laid the foundations of this shrine, managed to finish the Cuban edges of this mosque. The deceased, could not experience the ornaments and paintings in this mosque after he changed his life in 1807. Thanks to Allah, the son of Mullah, Haxhi et hem Beu, who was knowledgeable and able to fulfill the mosque minaret. He made the decoration with mosque paintings, built the portraiture ceiling, and so he could complete the mosque with 1830-1831. Since then, Aziani began to hear from this mosque 5 meals of the day. For the architect of this mosque there are no data, but for the mosque painting side, among the people of Tirana are said to have been two intellectual intellectuals of Tirana, called Mulla Isuf Zorba and Mulla Halim Bulku. One feature of this mosque is the introduction of the element of nature in the decoration of the mosque. The mosque is divided into floors, where we find quiet nature, which climb to the dome. The mosque dome with a magnificent view is embellished with the “Ajetul Kursine”, written in spiral form. While at the bottom of the Cuban are written in the 99s the names of Allah (ie.). The mosque contains 18 windows, there is a large wooden mimble. In the mosque there is also a nafille, where women are praised.
